Blythedale Beach Bay
The beach itself is very nice. However, the facilities are sadly run down.Avoid going to this beach during the December holidays. The area is overcrowded and unsafe.

Miller’s Point Tidal Pool
Another tidal pool leaving your breathless. A larger area to walk around with ruins, large rocks and little beach, and a funtastic larger tidal pool to swim or snorkel or use the slide. The waves of the ocean create wonderful splashes, and the view of the mountains and sea is mesmerizing.

This is heaven on earth! There is parking, little duikers (if you're lucky enough to see them), a calm place to swim, a soft sandy beach, and unbelievable beauty all around.

Hamersley Pool
Good wind protection and shallow pools protected by reef from large waves. Good for exploring the rocks and searching for shells. Usually quiet and reasonable access although you will have step down through rocks for the last few steps.

Hout Bay Beach
There’s just too many dogs for us to enjoy the beach. I was uncomfortable throughout my visit at the beach especially around pit bulls and big dogs.
