Salsa classes

We had our first Salsa dance lesson last night with Cindy and it was awesome! Cindy is a wonderful person, great instructor and talented dancer. Lots of fun and excited for class next week!

Sherylanne is an amazing teacher!My husband and I booked Sherylanne for private wedding lessons to learn bachata for our wedding. She made us feel so comfortable and was very encouraging and patient. I provided her with the song we wanted and she created choreography based around our comfort zones.We received such wonderful compliments from our wedding guests.I am now signed up to one of her classes :)

Very apprehensive in taking the first step to booking up, now wished I'd done it years ago.Cindy quickly ran me through some basic moves and after 45 minutes we were dancing. A great way to keep fit and the music is fantastic. Thank you Cindy again, looking forward to the next lesson.

Cindy is a great teacher, she helped us get our wedding dance sorted with only 2 weeks before the wedding. Our lessons were fun and the dance was well choreographed. It was a highlight of the night and very glad we learned the dance, can also keep some of the moves up our sleeves for when we go out! Thanks Cindy!!

A fantastic dance studio with fun, friendly and energetic teachers, great range of classes to suit all levels and heaps of social dancing events. I’ve been learning at the school for 7 months and have loved it. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn something new, be part of a fun and welcoming community and dance, dance, dance!

My first class at JRDA was the Funky Friday class with G. Madison. I have never been in a class before where everybody had so much fun dancing together and everyone was welcomed no matter if absolute beginner or professional. It was also because of G. Madison that there was such a great energy and vibe in the class.I later also took private lessons in commercial dance with him and can't tell how grateful I am that he took the time to work with me even though I am not a professional dancer. Under his guidance I learned a lot not only about dancing but also about myself.I was also lucky to have Juan give me a first glimpse into the world of West Coast Swing (or partner dancing in general which was completely new to me) during a couple of private lessons. Thanks also to Steph who always interrupted her work at the office to do a little demonstration with Juan for me.Last but not least, I would like to mention Jiten & Riana who gave me an introduction to Zouk (never heard of that before either) and who have such a positive and really wonderful way of teaching.All the instructors I met at JRDA taught with a lot of passion and you could tell that it is not about memorizing steps but feeling the music and just having fun dancing together. Both, teachers and students made you feel like you were part of a little dance family. I can highly recommend the studio and hope to come back to Perth very soon. I miss the classes with you guys already!

Ben is an awesome teacher who is patient (he needs to be with me) and dedicated to his students. The line dance classes are fun if you can't convince a partner or if you just want to live the movements in your own own mind. And the Ballroom and Latin classes cater for all levels from absolute beginner to competition level.

Great place to learn Latin dancing. Competent teachers who break down steps for beginners and then progress onwards, giving tips along the way. Such a fun experience and energizing too.

I love this studio. I’ve been going for about 5 months and I can see and feel a remarkable difference. It’s great that there is so much variety in the different classes on offer, and the studio caters for all ages and levels of fitness.Shontal and her team are very professional, friendly, and helpful. It’s a happy, fun, and playful environment and a great way to meet new people while working out.10/10 for this little studio - I can’t wait to see what new classes are introduced (although Kangoo Jumps will probably always be my favourite).Very reasonable membership fees for the quality and variety of classes on offer.Note that this isn’t a traditional gym with equipment, but rather an exercise studio with scheduled classes that vary from week to week.
